"The king and Scheherazade enact the tales, along with the puppets and the Atlantic’s terrific young ensemble. It’s hard to say what’s funnier: the many rhyming jokes or the stage business."

"A bedazzled creature builds a community by singing 24 concerts of the last 24 decades of popular music. Ultimately all 24 decades will be stitched together culminating in a 24-hour long extravaganza (in 2016), which will feature Taylor Mac, a 24-piece orchestra, dancing beauties, special guests, and you. Bring bedding and toiletries." (TaylorMac.org)Read More

Scheduled to interpret the works of songwriter Finn are Tony winner and Olivier Award nominee Betty Buckley, Tony nominee Norm Lewis, Alysha Umphress, Sally Wilfert, Taylor Trensch, Stephen DeRosa, Demond Green, Sara Kase, Matthew Krob, Emily Reeves and Ben Schrager."
"Inspired by her current role as Claire De Loone in the Broadway revival of On the Town, leading lady Elizabeth Stanley paid homage to the witty and poignant songbook of the show's creators and original stars, Betty Comden and Adolph Green. Ms. Stanley explored some of the legendary duo's unforgettable hits ("Just in Time," "Make Someone Happy") and celebrated their collaborations with some of the greatest American theatre composers."

"Emerging artists from the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music and the Tisch Department of Drama come together for an evening of music and stories. Drawing from personal experiences, current events, and a combination of favorite and original songs, they will give voice to the hopes, dreams, and fears we all notice, but can so easily ignore in the chaos of the city.
Directed by Joe’s Pub favorite Nora York with her collaborator pianist composer Jamie Lawrence along with choreographer Barbara Allen, you can expect to catch a glimpse of tomorrow’s brightest stars."Read More
